SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF GRANT HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO.

(a) The grantees shall not without the consent of the Governor

first had and obtained erect or maintain on the area coloured red on plan any building other than a school and shall not use any building or buildings for any other purpose without the previous consent of the Governor.

(b) In case it is at any time shown to the satisfaction of the Governor that the building upon the said lot has ceased to be used for such specific purpose as aforesaid or is being used for some other purpose without the previous consent of the Governor it shall be lawful for the Crown to re-enter upon the lot in like manner as for any other breach of the terms of the Crown Lease.

(c) The grantees shall not sell, assign, mortgage, charge,

demise, underlet, part with the possession or otherwise dispose of or encumber the lot or any part thereof or any building thereon without the consent of the Governor first had and obtained.

(a) The Crown Lease shall contain such covenants as shall be

necessary to give effect to these conditions.

(2) The whole of the areas coloured red and green on plan shall be formed by the grantees at their own expense to such levels as the Director of Public Works may approve within 6 months from the date of grant. The filling shall be protected to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works. The area coloured green shall be retained by Government on completion.

(3) The grantees will not utilize the area coloured green on plan for the purpose of storage or for the erection of any temporary buildings or structures without the consent of the Director of Public Works first having been obtained.

(4) The grantees shall form to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works with approved material the portions of public roads shown coloured green on plan and prepare them so that build- ing traffic may be carried thereon and maintain them in good condition until the building covenant has been complied with.

(5) A filtered water supply from the Government mains will be given on the usual terms, and subject to the provisions of the Waterworks Ordinance, or any enactment amending the same or subs- tituted therefor.

(6) No water from Government mains shall be used for flushing purposes upon any portion of the lot without the written consent of the Director of Public Works.

(7) Any damage or obstruction caused to any sewer, stormwater drain, watermain or other Government properties within or adjoin- ing the lot by the grantees, their servants or agents, shall be made good by Government at the cost of the grantees, and the amount due in respect thereof shall be payable by the grantees on demand.

(8) The grantees shall pay to the Government of Hong Kong on demand the cost of connecting any drains or sewers from the lot to the Government stormwater drains or sewers. Such work shall be carried out by the Director of Public Works who shall however incur no liability to the grantees in respect thereof.
